Corban’s outstanding Theatre Arts program gives talented students an opportunity to glorify God through the dramatic arts. The Theatre Scholarship recognizes students for their dedication to drama and participation in Corban’s theatre program, on and off the stage.

Application Process

  • Fill out a Theatre Scholarship Audition Form.
    • Indicate what area of theatre you are interested in.
    • Please note, the application requires two short reference letters: one personal and one theatre-related.
    • Experience is helpful but not required.
  • Within two weeks of submitting the application, you will hear from the Theatre Department with audition requirements and to schedule an audition.

Award Details

  • Award amount varies.
  • May not be combined with any other “talent” scholarship (Athletic, Debate, Music).
  • May be stacked with other scholarships and grants.
  • Annually renewable with continued participation in Corban Theatre productions each semester.

NWCCU ACCREDITATION

Corban University is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) and completed a Year-Seven Comprehensive (Evaluation of Institutional Effectiveness (EIE)) in 2022 for continued accreditation. The comprehensive self-study was followed by an onsite evaluation in October 2022. In February 2023, Corban received reaffirmation of its accreditation for 7 years. Corban University’s last Mid-Cycle Evaluation was fall 2018, and its Policies, Regulations and Financial Review (PRFR) was completed in fall 2021. As of our most recent evaluation, Corban University is compliant with the Standards, Policies, and Eligibility Requirements of the NWCCU.
