AWANA Scholarship

God’s Word is at the heart of all we do at Corban, and we are so thankful for your dedication to memorizing Scripture as part of the AWANA program! In recognition of your achievement, we are pleased to offer an AWANA scholarship to students who have earned a Timothy, Meritorious, or Citation Award.

You will qualify for the scholarship amount that matches the highest AWANA award level you have received:

  • Timothy Award: $500 per year
  • Meritorious Award: $1000 per year
  • Citation Award: $2,000 per year

Application Process

Indicate on your application for admission or notify your Admissions Counselor that you have participated in AWANA and earned an AWANA Award.

Requirements

  • Student must have earned a Timothy, Meritorious, or Citation Award from AWANA.

Award Details

  • Available beginning with the 2025-26 academic year.
  • Renewable each year, up to four years.
  • May not be combined with any other “affiliation” scholarship.
  • May not be combined with an athletic scholarship.
  • May be stacked with other scholarships and grants.
  • Available only to traditional undergraduate students.

NWCCU ACCREDITATION

Corban University is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) and completed a Year-Seven Comprehensive (Evaluation of Institutional Effectiveness (EIE)) in 2022 for continued accreditation. The comprehensive self-study was followed by an onsite evaluation in October 2022. In February 2023, Corban received reaffirmation of its accreditation for 7 years. Corban University’s last Mid-Cycle Evaluation was fall 2018, and its Policies, Regulations and Financial Review (PRFR) was completed in fall 2021. As of our most recent evaluation, Corban University is compliant with the Standards, Policies, and Eligibility Requirements of the NWCCU.
