How do men and women become interested in STEM fields, and what makes them stay?
Dr. Christina Cooper, Assistant Professor of Biology at Corban University, explored this question and more in research she co-authored with Dr. Adam V. Maltese of Indiana University: “STEM Pathways: Do Men and Women Differ in Why They Enter and Exit?”

“He don’t know one note from another—he can’t tell a bass drum from a pipe organ!”

While this may be true of con man Harold Hill (of Meredith Willson’s “The Music Man”), it certainly isn’t true of the Corban University cast and orchestra who’ve collaborated to put on this spectacular show.

Taylor Shaw was perhaps the last person to realize that God was calling her to counseling. Her friends knew it from the way she listened to them, validated them, and encouraged them. The readers of the Hilltop News knew it from the witty yet heartfelt advice she offered in her column “Tay-ke It or Leave It.”

NWCCU ACCREDITATION

Corban University is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) and completed a Year-Seven Comprehensive (Evaluation of Institutional Effectiveness (EIE)) in 2022 for continued accreditation.
