Addressing Your Mail

There is a right and wrong way to address mail. Choose the right way and it’s almost like magic the way things get from there to here! Choose the wrong way and someone in Bulgaria will be getting a surprise in the post.


Incoming Mail to Corban

Use the following format to address mail you wish delivered to someone on the Corban campus.

Mail addressed for a student:

First and Last Name

Mail addressed for an employee or department:

Department Title or Individual Name
Corban University

On-campus mailing

Student papers, encouragement cards and gifts, can be dropped off at the Mail Room or in the mail-slots outside the Mail Room. Please use a full name on all campus correspondence, gifts, and packages.


Outgoing mailing from Corban

Please place a complete return address on any correspondence leaving the Mail Room.

Packages being sent have several options. We have various sizes of USPS Priority Flat Rate boxes available in the Mail Room for your use. These boxes must be used for priority only. Packages may also be shipped by UPS (United Parcel Service).

International mailings must be taken to a local USPS office.

Addressing International Mail

Type or legibly print your delivery address in all uppercase letters.

If possible, address should have no more than five lines.

Last line of the address must include only the complete country name (no abbreviations).

Line 1: Name of addressee
Line 2: Street Address or Post Office box number
Line 3: City of Town name, Principal subdivision (i.e., Providence, state, county, postal code)(Note: in some countries, the postal code may precede the city or town name)
Line 4: Country name

The following format should always be used for addresses sent to Canada:

NWCCU ACCREDITATION

Corban University is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) and completed a Year-Seven Comprehensive (Evaluation of Institutional Effectiveness (EIE)) in 2022 for continued accreditation. The comprehensive self-study was followed by an onsite evaluation in October 2022. In February 2023, Corban received reaffirmation of its accreditation for 7 years. Corban University’s last Mid-Cycle Evaluation was fall 2018, and its Policies, Regulations and Financial Review (PRFR) was completed in fall 2021. As of our most recent evaluation, Corban University is compliant with the Standards, Policies, and Eligibility Requirements of the NWCCU.
