Professional

Dr. Kleiber teaches courses such as Instructional Alignment, Literacy Methods, ESOL Methods, Classroom Management, and supervises teacher candidates.

Before coming to Corban in 2016, she taught multiple grade levels within the Salem-Keizer school district and held several TOSA positions such as Reading Specialist, Behavior Specialist, and District Mentor. During her career in the Salem-Keizer school district, Dr. Kleiber was nominated for a Crystal Apple Award, and she currently sits on the School Board Commission for Riviera Christian School here in Salem.

Dr. Kleiber says, “My years working within the field of elementary education has prepared me well for my position, and I have been blessed to have a full and well-rounded teaching career so far. Being able to train pre-service teachers to be excellent educators and to serve students well while holding a biblical worldview towards their profession is a true joy.”

Personal

Jen and her husband have three grown children and love to meet up with them in Disneyland and national parks for fun and adventures together! When she’s not teaching, Jen loves to antique shop, watch foreign films, bake, and go on adventures.

Why Corban

“God brought me to Corban when I least expected it. God very clearly closed one door and opened another—He exchanged my passion for teaching 6-year-olds for a passion to help teach and guide pre-service teachers to become excellent educators. Through this change He is also giving me the opportunity to pursue other academic interests, and impact education in different ways than I was able to in a first-grade classroom. I am here because of Him, and I could not be happier!”
