Professional

Prior to working for Corban, Dr. Boe spent four years as the Director of Teacher Education at Multnomah University. Susan has taught multiple subjects both in the middle and high schools. Her favorite subject was teaching Bible and leading students to a greater understanding of the Word of God and what it means to take ownership of their faith. Dr. Boe’s experience working in both the business and education sectors provided an opportunity to experience how unresolved conflict can negatively affect relationships and organizational success. These experiences led her to earn her Certificate of Conflict Resolution and Mediation from Abilene Christian University. She is the author of curriculum for healthy living from a biblical perspective, now owned by ACSI.

Personal

Dr. Boe and her husband, Scott, met while they both were attending Bible college. They live in West Linn and have two grown sons: Steven and Christopher. They spend as much time as possible at the Oregon Coast. She and her husband enjoy working on projects around their home, vegetable gardening, and reading.

Why Corban

“I chose Corban because higher education can be a place where young people often lose their spiritual compass. Corban is a community where the Word of God is central, and students have the opportunity to become spiritually grounded to engage our culture and influence others for Christ.”

NWCCU ACCREDITATION

Corban University is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) and completed a Year-Seven Comprehensive (Evaluation of Institutional Effectiveness (EIE)) in 2022 for continued accreditation. Corban University’s last Mid-Cycle Evaluation was fall 2018, and its Policies, Regulations and Financial Review (PRFR) was completed in fall 2021. As of our most recent evaluation, Corban University is compliant with the Standards, Policies, and Eligibility Requirements of the NWCCU.
