Research Symposium
Tuesday, April 15, 2025, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
This annual event showcases the research that Corban students conduct with faculty in areas of science and technology. At Corban, students are encouraged to engage in real research projects even at the undergraduate level, and this event allows them to share their hard work and discoveries.
Biology, math, agriculture science, computer science, counseling psychology, and kinesiology students will share their projects through poster or oral presentations and field questions about their research. The presentations are scored by guest judges and prizes are awarded for the best posters and presentations.
The Research Symposium not only benefits the students whose work is displayed, but it allows other students to learn about the research being done on Corban’s campus, see how the things they are learning in their classes can be applied to current work, consider conducting their own research project, and/or select a project they may want to contribute to in the future.
Keynote Speaker
Attendees of the Research Symposium also have the opportunity to hear from a noted science or research professional. This year’s keynote speaker will be announced soon.
