Corban University Welcomes Cornelius Williams, Jr., and Lee Roberson to Board of Trustees

SALEM, OR (June 3, 2024) – Corban University proudly announces the appointment of two distinguished leaders, Cornelius Williams, Jr., and Lee Roberson, to its Board of Trustees.

Cornelius Williams, Jr., an alum (’89) of the University, is celebrated for his achievements both on and off the court. A former basketball player, he has since carved out a notable career in leadership, particularly through his involvement with Young Life. Williams currently serves as president of Resurgence Leadership Foundation, supporting business owners with tailored solutions that enable them to make a lasting impact, and also provides leadership consulting and coaching services. Williams is driven to help those who are helping others and has 30+ years of experience investing in leaders who are doing mission-driven work within communities.

Lee Roberson, a resident of Hobbs, New Mexico, brings a wealth of expertise from his ventures in the oil and gas industry, as well as his leadership role in Roberson Farms, LLC. His extensive experience in governance, notably as a board member of other Christian universities, positions him well to contribute to Corban’s strategic direction and growth.

Their diverse backgrounds and commitment to Christian education make both Williams and Roberson invaluable additions to Corban’s Board of Trustees. Their insights and leadership will play a pivotal role in advancing the University’s mission and fostering its continued excellence in academics, service, and Christian leadership.

“We are thrilled to welcome Cornelius Williams, Jr., and Lee Roberson to our Board of Trustees,” said Corban University President, Dr. John Mark Yeats. “Their extensive experience and unwavering dedication to Christian values align perfectly with our University’s vision, and we look forward to their contributions in shaping the future of Corban.”
