Betty Balyo, Beloved Friend of Corban and Wife of Former President Dr. John G. Balyo, Passes Away

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our beloved friend and advocate, Betty Balyo. Betty was a devoted mother, grandmother, constant friend to the University, and loving wife to former University President, Dr. John G. Balyo. Her tireless dedication to Corban, its staff, and its students was prominently and powerfully displayed over her years of compassionate service. She had a passion for people and a talent for generous hosting.

Many of Corban’s improvements over the years are directly related to Betty’s fundraising efforts and her heart for our community. She was dearly loved by all and will be greatly missed.

We encourage you to join with us in prayer for her family during this time of grieving, but also in the rejoicing that she is home with the One she lived to serve.
