CONGRATULATIONS on your acceptance to Corban University!

You have chosen a great place to spend your college years. You will meet the most caring and supportive staff, coaches, and faculty around. You will study and then study some more. You will form friendships that will last a lifetime. Your faith will be challenged and strengthened.

All of us at Corban are excited to see how the Lord works in and through you as you prepare to make a difference in the world for Jesus Christ.

Next Steps

Here’s what to expect (and what to do!) to get ready for your Corban adventure.

Deposit

Reserve your place at Corban with an enrollment deposit as soon as possible. Once you submit your deposit, you will be able to register for classes and receive your housing assignment.

You can deposit through your application portal. Get more information on depositing here.

Register for Classes

Every new student is assigned to a faculty advisor who will help you register for classes. Your advisor will reach out to you when it is your turn to register. You can check out our program overviews for each major to get an idea of the classes you might take.

First-year students will also be part of a Freshman Seminar group your first semester, led by your freshman advisor and a student from your area of study.

Plan for Tuition

Check in with Student Accounts to discuss payment options and create a plan for your remaining tuition and fees after financial aid. We offer a variety of options to make your Corban education an affordable opportunity, including payment plans.

After scholarships and financial aid, the remaining balance on your student account is due in full by the Friday prior to the start of the semester.

Log into Your Corban Student Account and Email

After you deposit, we will let you know when your student account is ready. You will receive log-in instructions at the email address we have on file for you.

All email communication regarding housing, classes, and financial services will go to your new Corban email address over the summer, so it’s important to check this account regularly.

Submit Housing Request & Meal Plan Selection

Corban has four residence halls, with single, double, and even quad rooms available depending on your preference and availability.

All new students must submit the Admit Housing Survey, whether you plan to live on campus or off campus. After you receive you student account log-in, submit this form to receive your housing and roommate assignment or to receive approval to live off campus as a commuter student.

Campus life is an integral part of your college experience, and most new students live on campus. For details about Corban’s housing policy, see the Student Life Handbook.

On-campus students will select a meal plan as part of the Admit Housing Survey. Changes can be made to your meal plan selection until August 1 for students beginning classes in the fall, or December 1 for students enrolling in the spring. Corban offers a variety of meal plan options that let you choose how many times a week you would like to access the dining hall. Commuter students have the option (but are not required) to choose a Block Plan and may do so any time during the semester.

See room and board options and costs.

Receive Roommate and Residence Hall Assignments

Housing assignments will be made for deposited students who have submitted their housing form. We encourage you to contact your roommate before you arrive to start getting to know each other.

Immunization Form

Before arriving on campus, submit the Immunization Form. You will be asked to log into your student account in Populi.

Complete Student Information Release (FERPA)

The Student Information Release allows you to authorize your parents or others to receive information about your academic records and student account. You can make this designation in Populi. Find details and instructions here.

Send Final Transcripts

Ask your school(s) to send your final official high school transcript or college transcripts directly to Corban. These are required before classes starts.

Read Corban’s Student Handbook

The Corban student handbook will tell you everything you need to know about life as a Corban student and what to expect as part of the Corban community.

Shop for Textbooks

Textbook lists will be available in Populi, our student information system, shortly before the semester starts. You may purchase or rent books from any retailer. Textbooks are not available for purchase on campus.

Parking Permit (or Opt-Out)

If you will be bringing a car to campus, register for a parking permit before you arrive. Parking permits are $35 per semester, per vehicle. After you complete the registration, your permit sticker will be sent to your campus mailbox.

If you will NOT be bringing a vehicle to campus, you must complete this form to opt-out of the parking permit. The permit fee is automatically charged to your account but will be removed after you complete this form.

Apply for Campus Jobs

Corban has a number of on-campus jobs open to students. If you are interested in working on campus, check out the current student employment opportunities.

Be sure to bring valid, original identification such as a passport or driver’s license AND social security card with you in order to complete an I-9 form before you start working. You must have the original identification (no copies).
