Dr. Cornman serves as Corban University as the Senior Vice President and Provost. He began his tenure at Corban in the summer of 2019. From May 8, 2022, until May 31, 2023, Dr. Cornman served as the interim president.

Prior to Corban University, Dr. Cornman served as Vice President and Dean of the Undergraduate School at Moody Bible Institute (Chicago, 2001–2009), Vice President and Chief Academic Officer at Cedarville University (Cedarville, OH, 2009–2015), and Senior Vice President for Academic Administration and Dean of Trinity College and Graduate School at Trinity International University (Deerfield, IL, 2015–2019).

An historian by training, he taught historical theology, theology, and history for 19 years before moving into administrative roles.

Dr. Cornman and his wife, Sue, enjoy exploring the Pacific Northwest, attending campus activities, and representing Corban in a variety of settings. They have two adult children who live in Southern California.

NWCCU ACCREDITATION

Corban University is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) and completed a Year-Seven Comprehensive (Evaluation of Institutional Effectiveness (EIE)) in 2022 for continued accreditation. The comprehensive self-study was followed by an onsite evaluation in October 2022. In February 2023, Corban received reaffirmation of its accreditation for 7 years. Corban University’s last Mid-Cycle Evaluation was fall 2018, and its Policies, Regulations and Financial Review (PRFR) was completed in fall 2021. As of our most recent evaluation, Corban University is compliant with the Standards, Policies, and Eligibility Requirements of the NWCCU.
