Registration Now Open for 2020 Warrior Championship Classic

SALEM, Ore. – Registration is now open for the 2020 Warrior Championship Classic, set to take place on August 17 at Creekside Golf Club. A number of exciting features are slated for this year’s fundraising event, which will give proponents of Corban Athletics an opportunity to support the school’s student-athletes like never before.

Every dollar of the event’s proceeds will go directly toward postseason costs for the Warrior squads, allowing Corban fans to help pave the way for historic and unforgettable moments for the Navy and Gold.

Creekside, the world-class home course of the Corban University men’s and women’s golf teams, will once again serve as the venue for the tournament. The course has been the destination of the NAIA Men’s Golf National Championships on two occasions, and features numerous amenities, such as a heated outdoor pool, 24-hour fitness center, and top-of-the-line practice facilities.

With the health and safety of all participants remaining the top priority of the Corban University athletic department, the tournament format will take on a slightly new look in 2020.

Groups will tee off in 10-minute increments, starting at 9 a.m. Lunch and refreshments will be provided to all attendees. Returning in 2020 will be the Warrior Championship Classic silent auction, which will showcase a plethora of items for participants to bid on.

Better yet, the price to enter the tournament has decreased for this year’s event. The cost per individual is $200, with pricing for foursomes set at $800. Additionally, local businesses have the chance to partner with Corban Athletics as an official ‘Hole Sponsor’ for $250, garnering an opportunity to display signage with the company’s logo on the course and receive recognition in the tournament program.
