Why Corban
“Corban is a special place, and our Counseling Department is special as well. I am blessed to work here and to be able to spend my time working with talented colleagues and investing in students who are going to make a difference in the counseling world. I am passionate about helping prepare students to be not just qualified professionals, but to be excellent in the profession they have been called to.
“I had little teaching experience when I began here in 2009. Corban invested in me. I have grown immensely and I feel like I belong here. I can be myself. I can speak from my heart whether in a department meeting or a student supervision. I feel a connection and a trust because we are striving for the same goal. I love seeing the students grow personally as well as in their counseling skills. I love sharing their excitement when they experience growth in their clients.”
