Corban University’s 220+ acre campus is situated in a hillside forest setting overlooking the Willamette Valley, just minutes from the heart of Salem, Oregon’s capital city. The rugged coast awaits only an hour’s drive to the west. To the east is the mountainous Cascade Range. Portland, the state’s largest city, is less than an hour away north, and is home to cultural museums, parks, shopping, and restaurants.

Safety and Security at Corban University

Corban University values the safety of our students and staff. The Annual Security Report gives information about services provided by Campus Safety, emergency notifications, procedures, and policies concerning the safety and security of all on campus. This report also includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on and around campus, policies and resources concerning crime prevention and the reporting of crimes, alcohol & drug use, and sexual assault. The Annual Security Report and crime statistics can be accessed via the Campus Safety website.

NWCCU ACCREDITATION

Corban University is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) and completed a Year-Seven Comprehensive (Evaluation of Institutional Effectiveness (EIE)) in 2022 for continued accreditation. The comprehensive self-study was followed by an onsite evaluation in October 2022. In February 2023, Corban received reaffirmation of its accreditation for 7 years. Corban University’s last Mid-Cycle Evaluation was fall 2018, and its Policies, Regulations and Financial Review (PRFR) was completed in fall 2021. As of our most recent evaluation, Corban University is compliant with the Standards, Policies, and Eligibility Requirements of the NWCCU.
