WARRIOR CULTURE ATHLETIC EXCELLENCE
We seek to create a culture within our basketball program that reflects the mission of Corban University to educate Christians who will make a difference in the world for Jesus Christ. We strive to build meaningful relationships that become a vital aspect of the development of our team and program. Our program is a reflection of our Lord Jesus Christ, Corban University, and the individuals that make up this great community. Five pillars define who we are and what we stand for:

ATHLETIC EXCELLENCE

  • Corban has been ranked NAIA Top–10 on three occasions, ranking as high as #1 in 1995.
  • Corban has qualified for and competed in the NAIA Division II National Tournament five times (1997, 1998, 2002, 2005, 2017).
  • In Corban’s history, 28 players have scored 1000+ points during their Warrior careers.
  • Corban, known as “3–Point U,” has made a three–pointer in 1,058 consecutive games (and counting), an NAIA record.
  • Corban has won four CCC Tournament Championships in program history (1996-97, 1997-98, 2001-02, 2016-17).
  • The Warriors have landed three players on the All–CCC First Team in recent seasons.

6th Man Club is supporting the future of Warrior Basketball. The financial support will go to:

  • Additional academic resources to support student–athletes
  • Provide resources to support student–athlete development & future recruiting needs for the program
  • Locker Room improvements for increasing roster size
  • Assist in the rising cost of Team Travel Transportation
  • Support future outreach mission opportunities for our students

NWCCU ACCREDITATION

Corban University is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) and completed a Year-Seven Comprehensive (Evaluation of Institutional Effectiveness (EIE)) in 2022 for continued accreditation. The comprehensive self-study was followed by an onsite evaluation in October 2022. In February 2023, Corban received reaffirmation of its accreditation for 7 years. Corban University’s last Mid-Cycle Evaluation was fall 2018, and its Policies, Regulations and Financial Review (PRFR) was completed in fall 2021. As of our most recent evaluation, Corban University is compliant with the Standards, Policies, and Eligibility Requirements of the NWCCU.
